Greetings from Hilltop!
Greetings from Hilltop!
Maybe you’ve heard the saying, “The days are long, but the years are short.” What it means is that while we’re plugging along through the tasks of each day, we can feel tired. We wake up to another day of work and getting the kids to school, and checking off the to-do list, and each day can feel so long and exhausting. Then, when we have a moment to catch our breath and reflect, it seems that time is actually flying by. So here we are already in April! The first quarter of 2025 has been full. It’s easy to lose focus in all the shuffle. The most important thing to remember in hectic times is to always bring it back to center.
In February, we had the privilege of celebrating multiple special birthdays with friends and family, including my dad’s 70th and Tim’s mom’s…well, the number isn’t important, 😜 and Tim officiated another beautiful wedding.

Our center is Jesus. Let Matthew 6:33 be your guidepost. “But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.” Set your heart and thoughts on Jesus, in the morning, at work, in the evening, before bed. It doesn’t mean you lock yourself in a prayer closet all day, unable to face the world. It just means that you keep yourself aware of the Lord’s presence with you all throughout the day. Remember that He never leaves your side. Seek Him through prayer for direction, peace, wisdom, protection, joy, healing, comfort, answers, all the things. When your day starts to get away from you, bring it back to center. Bring it back to Jesus. Of course, for a marriage application, make the time to be in prayer with your spouse. If you’re not meeting at Jesus, the busyness of life will overtake you, and before you know it, you haven’t spoken about anything other than what time you have to take the kids to practice or that you’re almost out of milk. Work to maintain the connection. Connect at Jesus. Connect in prayer. Connect in the word. Choose not to stray from the spiritual foundation of your marriage.

In March, Tim had the honor and privilege of teaching another Sunday sermon.
It has been a blessing to watch him grow in the Lord and develop his speaking. I am one proud wife. Click the link below to watch the sermon.
Marriage Tip of the Month
“Be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to anger.” (James 1:19) When your spouse says or does something that rubs you the wrong way, pause. Take a breath. Talk to Jesus. Then respond in love. Be patient. After all, the primary attribute of 1 Corinthians 13 love is patience.
Have a blessed April.
💘 Love never fails. 💘

Equally, if not more important, are the prayers lifted up on behalf of all God is doing through Hilltop Marriage Coaching. We are eternally grateful for your prayers.

"I am so grateful to Tim and his heart for God and the gift of guiding families back to what really matters, God’s Kingdom. My husband and I have been married for 11 years, and everything was “fine.” I didn’t have any complaints. However, due to some health and anxiety issues, my husband started meeting with Tim. He made an enormous difference in our marriage in just a few short months. My husband has become the leader God intended him to be, and that has made a big shift in our family. We put God first and have set our priorities in line with God's Word. With Tim’s coaching, our marriage has never been better. In fact, I contribute the shift in our marriage to the reason we will soon be welcoming our 3rd child!
God has perfect timing, and I believe we needed this change to be ready for our third little girl.
Thank you so much for all that you do, Tim. You have really changed our lives.
