March Monthly Newsletter

Greetings from Hilltop!

One of our favorite things is to hear from former clients who are thriving in their marriage. An added bonus is when we get photos of their new babies. We’ve had a handful of couples who fought to make their marriages healthy, and the Lord blessed their obedience with the gift of new life. That’s not always His plan, but it’s pretty cool when it works out that way. Just prior to me and Tim separating in 2014, we had been trying to conceive. God knew that disaster was on the horizon and that it wasn’t the right time for a new baby. But 3 months after reconciling, He blessed us by allowing us to become pregnant with Charlotte Rose. His timing is always absolute perfection, even when we don’t like it or don’t understand it. He knows what He’s doing. “He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the human heart; yet no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end.” (Ecclesiastes 3:11) If you find yourself in a place of waiting and wondering, continue to rely on the truth that the Lord has not abandoned you, is still working, and will make everything beautiful at the perfect time.

In February, we had the privilege of celebrating multiple special birthdays with friends and family, including my dad’s 70th and Tim’s mom’s…well, the number isn’t important, 😜 and Tim officiated another beautiful wedding.

Additionally, we were given an incredibly generous gift from a client, and it allowed us to have the capacity to bless others by way of discounted rates, as well as paying some forward to Merciful Hearts (not to mention it allowed us to buy a new refrigerator as ours went out one day after the donation😱). If the Lord puts it on your heart, we are exceedingly grateful for donations to Hilltop. But more importantly, if you feel led, please consider donating directly to our friend, Pastor Paulo, at Merciful Hearts Orphanage in Kitale, Kenya. He works tirelessly to provide a safe and Christ-centered sanctuary for dozens of children, and they could use all the help they can get. 💜

Marriage Tip of the Month

Don’t sweat the small stuff, 😅 but rather focus on the good. If you have the urge to criticize your spouse, ask yourself if it’s necessary. Is the thing that’s getting under your skin a sin or is it just a difference of opinion? Is it more important to point out their shortcomings or praise their attributes?

“Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things.” (Philippians 4:8)

As always, your prayers for God to sustain Hilltop as a business and ministry are greatly appreciated, as are referrals. 😋 In the words of the late Pastor Mike Reed of Calvary Chapel Oceanside, “Go make Jesus look good.” Have a blessed March!!

With gratitude, Tim and Moriah Hilley 💙

"Hilltop Marriage Coaching with Tim and Moriah has been a life-changing blessing for my wife and I. From the very first session, their unwavering dedication and genuine care for our marriage was evident. They didn't just offer advice; they led us by consistently pointing us back to God as the ultimate foundation of a thriving relationship.

Tim and Moriah have a remarkable ability to challenge and motivate in a way that inspires hope and growth. They gently but firmly encouraged us to confront difficult truths and guided us toward forgiveness, understanding, and deeper intimacy. What stood out most was their commitment to living out the example of a godly marriage themselves—every principle they teach is rooted in their own faith and walk with God.

Thanks to their guidance, we’ve found healing, renewed love, and a deeper spiritual connection as a couple. If you're searching for coaches who will walk with you, pray with you, and equip you to honor God in your marriage, look no further than Hilltop Marriage Coaching Services.
