Greetings from Hilltop!
If you’re anything like us, you and your family may have been stricken by illness this January. The flu bug took each of us out one by one. It makes it tricky to get back on your feet after already trying to rebound from the holiday season. But we’re recovering, and excitement is building for all the Lord wants to do in 2025. God has been faithful to consistently bring new clients, giving us the opportunity to share our testimony of the miraculous work He’s done in our lives. This year, we have already witnessed Him doing mighty things in marriages. What a blessing to know that, even when we get brought down with illness or other circumstances, the Lord never stops working. He is constant and omnipotent. He meets us in our highs and lows. The God of the mountain is the God of the valley and He is always good.
In addition to ministering through Hilltop Marriage Coaching, we have the privilege of co-leading a Bible study for young couples. Our oldest daughter, Mckenna, is pursuing a social media marketing internship with a former client. Our youngest, Charlotte, is a thriving third grader. Our yellow lab, Winnie, rounds out the bunch and she is learning that jumping in the pool in January is probably not the best choice. Through ever changing seasons of life, Jesus has demonstrated His faithfulness to protect and provide, to heal and equip, to strengthen and comfort. He brings the right people into our lives at just the right time to be what we need, and He allows us to be those people for others in need.
We have been walking alongside the pastor of Merciful Hearts Orphanage in Kitale, Kenya for about 4 years now. As you can imagine, their financial needs are tremendous and we help out as often as we can. In addition to assisting them, we aspire to accommodate couples who have the desire but not the means to receive our coaching services.
Every donation we receive allows us to pay it forward to our friends in Kenya or to those who need a little extra help here. Beyond monetary, we covet your prayers for our family and for the work God is doing at Hilltop Marriage Coaching.
